GPRS Now subscribers are empowered with web connectivity on their mobile phone and can enjoy the magic of internet. Subscribers will be able to browse, check emails on the move, view and update blogs, download entertainment & infotainment contents from all world wide websites from their GPRS compatible mobile phones.
>> Prepaid Subscribers:
To Activate:
- Just send SMS request in the following format "GPRS BP <> <>" to 57788
- You will receive the following message as confirmation "Thank you for your request for activating Aircel Online Basic Plan. Plan charges: 10p/10KB, No monthly rental. To confirm send YESBP to 57788"
- Just send YESBP to 57788, and you will receive the OTA settings and the following two messages
- Message 1: "Thank you for your request. Aircel Online (GPRS) will be activated within 48 hrs"
- Message 2: "Dear Subscriber, Kindly save the GPRS settings to be sent to you shortly"
- After Successful activation, you will receive the following message "Dear Subscriber, Aircel Online (GPRS) has been successfully activated. Enjoy browsing internet from your mobile phone"
Tariff Plans:
- No monthly rental charges
- Charges on usage: 10p/ 10KB
- SMS sent to 57788 will not be charged
>> Postpaid Subscribers:
To Activate:
- Please fill the GPRS enrolment form which can be availed from all Aircel CellCity and Aircel Centre.
- After verification of the duly filled GPRS enrollment form, OTA settings will be pushed to you.
- OTA settings will be pushed only for handsets which are GPRS compatible.
- After receiving the OTA settings, save the settings and start browsing.
